Renee Osborne, MA, LPC-S
Renee earned her Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in January 2014. She opened her private practice, DFW Christian Counseling, in 2016 with a desire to educate clergy and church staff in the DFW area about OCD and the importance of clinical treatment. She obtained post graduate training in OCD through the International OCD Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI). She attended the general training at the BTTI and obtained follow up consultation from Kiara Timpano, PhD, with subsequent BTTI training in advanced treatment protocols. Since attending BTTI, she has gained specialized training in evidence-based treatment protocols for OCD including CBT/ERP, ACT, and I-CBT. She founded a consultation group in the DFW area for faith-based counselors to gain additional clinical knowledge about anxiety and OCD assessment and treatment prior to their attendance at the BTTI. She is a current member of the executive committee of the Dallas OCD Treatment Specialists consultation group (DOTS) founded by Dr. Molly Martinez. She has been in private practice since May 2016 and has worked or volunteered in the counseling field since 1999.
Her desire to specialize in the treatment of anxiety and OCD was cultivated early on as she personally navigated the OCD journey of her daughter. She works with individuals, couples, and families. She has experience in treating issues that often intersect with anxiety and OCD including trauma, marriage and relational concerns, and life transitions. Her counseling approach is to respect and honor the personhood of all those who come her way.
Renee is a member of the International OCD Foundation, the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, and the Texas Counseling Association.
Renee is the owner of DFW Christian Counseling located in Texas.
